Design:
We are happy to make wedding cakes in a wide range of shapes and styles and offer a free consultation to help you design your perfect cake.
Most people start with a blank sheet of paper and we will take you through all the options to build a design that appeals to you and that fits your budget.
But, if you already have a particular design idea we are pleased to follow this, or if you have seen something you like, we are always happy to quote on copying a picture you have found.
All our designs can be adapted to different portion sizes and can be displayed as stacked cakes, with pillars or spacers, on separated stands or as single tier cakes.
Don’t fancy an iced cake? We are happy to make a cupcake or dessert alternative if wished
Attention to Detail:
We are happy to liaise with your venue/florist or dressmaker to match colours, decorate cakes with fresh flowers or obtain toning ribbon.
We provide advice on portion size and serving options when planning your cake.
We also recognize the importance of displaying your cake to advantage, so we offer a range of cake stands and plates for hire to display your cake to best advantage.
We also offer advice on design options to suit the size of cake you need and the display and lighting needs at your chosen venue.
We are also happy to bake cakes in gluten-free, egg-free, nut-free and dairy-free options.
Wedding Gift Cakes:
One of our most popular offerings is our wedding gift cake. These are small fruit or sponge cakes iced to complement the style of your wedding cake or to your specification.
Each cake comes in a gift box and has a delicately hand-crafted icing gift tag keepsake, with an personalised inscription for your friend or family member.
These provide beautiful individual gifts for special presents at your wedding and are often given to mothers of the bride or groom, or to bridesmaids.
Booking:
It’s always worth calling us, as we often do last minute cakes, but, if possible, please book your wedding date with us as soon as you can. We bake sponge cakes as close to your wedding as we can, so we do not commit to multiple cakes on one day. Your cake deserves our complete attention!
If you aren’t yet ready to choose your design, many of our customers secure a baking date with a deposit and book a design consultation for later.
Delivery:
Collection or delivery and set up at your venue are offered subject to availability.
