Once we have designed a cake, the next step is to ensure it tastes perfect. We home bake all our fruitcakes and sponges and offer a wide range of options.
Fruitcakes:
Our most popular fruitcake is made by soaking fruits in brandy with oranges. Once cooked, the cake is then “fed” with brandy or Madeira to your taste and matured for two to three months for extra flavour.
We also bake a dark treacle fruitcake and a nut free option is available. We even make a chocolate rum & raisin fruitcake for chocaholics!
Sponges:
We make both Victoria Sponge and Madeira cake options.
All our sponge cakes are made as close to your wedding or party date as possible to maximise freshness.
Our most popular flavours are real vanilla, fresh lemon and rich chocolate sponges, but many more options are available.
We often put together new flavour combinations to suit you, recent cakes include chocolate-orange, cappuccino, strawberry-vanilla, toffee, and ginger spice cake.
Many of our large cakes or cupcakes can be made with different flavoured tiers or cakes.
We are also happy to bake cakes in gluten-free, egg-free nut-free and dairy-free options, or try to work with other dietary needs.
